Pera is an international consulting business with offices throughout Europe. It harnesses the potential of science and technology, creating valuable new products and processes for its clients. To help take the 50-year-old business forward and compete in an increasingly competitive marketplace, Cubic created a new brand from the ground up.

Digging deep

As it moved from public to private ownership, Pera needed to project itself as a serious player in European management consultancy. This called for an authoritative, international brand language, positioning as thought leaders, and enough credibility to rival larger competitors.

Out with the old

We began with a far-reaching programme of interviews, workshops, competitor analysis and stakeholder reviews. Our aim, as always, was to build up a detailed understanding of Pera’s world before suggesting changes to their brand architecture, strategy and positioning. With this complete, we undertook photoshoots in the UK and Madrid, and created a new logo and visual identity system that suggested forward motion and collaboration. Finally, we designed a full range of brand collateral that gave Pera a truly unique identity.
