Trent Basin is a design-led waterside development of contemporary low-energy homes. Set on the banks of the Trent only minutes from the centre of Nottingham, this desirable new neighbourhood rewards homeowners with panoramic views and a forward-thinking community built on sustainable living. All in all, a seemingly easy sell in such a progressive area - but something wasn’t right. Lower than expected sales led the developer to us.
Building from the ground up
We started by unpicking the issues. You can’t build without a robust foundation, so we established a detailed new brand strategy to ensure Trent Basin was sending the right messages to the right people in the right ways. With a strategy in place, we began to tell their story.
Our meaningful brand identity is rooted in forensic research and creative thinking. To produce the distinctive logotype we took inspiration from Trent Basin’s rich history, faithfully recreating the iconic lettering from the basin’s former warehouses.
A vision of the future
Combined with a fresh colour palette and contemporary aesthetic, the result is a distinctive visual identity that captures the heritage of the brand. Our lifestyle photography introduces the future. Shot by Richard Moran and planned and art directed by us, it creates a sense of community and conveys what’s most important to Trent Basin: people and their way of life.
Following our campaign launch for Trent Basin, new home reservations jumped by a fantastic 60%
Our moving and static images made it easy to bring the essence of the brand to the digital space. We planned, designed and launched an expansive site filled with film and photography that expressed the mood of the community, creating an interactive experience and telling an aspirational story of life by the river.
Post launch, Phase Two sales leapt an incredible 86% in comparison to Phase One.
