How do you fashion a series of t-shirts?

One True Saxon is one of the leading British men’s fashion brands set up by three Paul Smith designers in the 90s. They take pride in their positioning as ‘The Casual Tailor’ and this ethos is evident in all of their garments. For their 2008 Spring/Summer t-shirt range they approached Cubic to design a series of prints. We took our inspiration from gothic typefaces and vintage letterpress emblems. We then introduced visual wit within the designs.
