Pera is an international consulting business. They harness the potential of science and technology, creating valuable products and processes for their clients. To help take the 50-year-old business forward and compete in an increasingly competitive marketplace, Cubic created a new brand from the ground up: strategy and positioning; a new logo; brand identity guidelines; photography; literature and website. Cubic has delivered a dynamic and powerful brand that will propel Pera into the next half century and beyond. Click here to view the website.

Thorn Lighting

PopPackPro product launch

Thorn is the UK’s largest lighting manufacturer. They recently asked Cubic to help relaunch their flagship product, PopPackPro. Worldwide, the batten light has sold millions, but in the pursuit of market dominance, the new PopPackPro has been redesigned to allow installers to fit the product 50% quicker than competitor products. To reinforce this, Cubic devised a ‘race’ between two installers which became the focal point of the campaign. The roll-out was far and wide – product website, launch film, literature design, press advertising, POS and merchandising. All created in house at Cubic. To view the website and film, click here.

Gold

Always believe in your soul

What better way to mark the end of a very busy summer than collecting a gold and silver at this year’s Fresh awards. Adam, Christian and Simon enjoyed an evening of fine dining (well, sausages and mash) and creative chit-chat at Lancashire County Cricket Club, Manchester. Both awards were for our much celebrated Power/Beauty campaign for Abacus Lighting… and given the lengths we went to to capture the images (Rob at Scene Photography can vouch for that), the recognition makes it all the more satisfying.

More clients = more space = more people

We're growing

More clients = more space = more people. Image 1

We are in the process of expanding into the floor beneath us. New client gains have made us hungry for more space, and fortunately for us, this beautiful studio underneath Cubic has come available at just the right time. Everything is in boxes at the moment (not in picture) and we are expecting a delivery of bespoke furniture from client PTT to match the desking we have in the current studio. So, Cubic is now over two floors and growing. The search for new people begins here: watch this space.

Fresh Awards nominations. Image 1

This week has kicked off with a bang in the form of a couple of corking nominations in this year’s Fresh Awards. We’ve been recognised for our Power/Beauty campaign for Abacus Lighting in the categories of Photography and Use of Photography. With a seriously impressive calibre of entrants and an equally impressive judging panel, our fingers will be crossed right the way up to the awards ceremony on 29 September.

Our appetite for branding wholesome and interesting products and companies has been the motivation behind our recent work for Trevor’s Honey. We’ve created the whole brand story, including packaging and website, and have been having a great deal of fun along the way. We’re not going to give the whole game away just yet, but here’s a preview of Trevor’s new logo. The project has certainly got us all buzzing.

We have just put the finishing touches to the new website for Fuel, a leading sales development consultancy whose clients include big players such as Wembley Stadium, Sodexo, Raleigh, Nestlé and IMG. Originally called Sales Performance Plus, we were briefed to create a new name and brand to stand out in what is a very crowded marketplace. Having settled on the name ‘Fuel’ we then set about directing and designing a website that would project the company’s ethos of ‘simple stuff expertly done’. The site features a series of short filmed sequences that are designed to engage and inspire, and ultimately get Fuel’s phones ringing off the hook. You can view the site here.
